About James Murray

Nicknamed, 'Brad Pitch', for his trademark soaring high-pitched voice, James Murray is the rock legend, who never tried too hard to weave his voice into the rich history of rock music. Widely considered as one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time, Murray was the pioneer of the genre of operatic vocal style, a singing style that was later adapted by many rock vocalists. His passion for music began during his time in boarding school and subsequently he became a part of many small time bands, before he joined The Rock Band as the band’s lead singer. He is one of the most acclaimed rock vocalists in the history of this genre.
