Just a quick one today.

Do you have any questions about learning the fretboard?

I ask because I’ve just recorded a new episode of the Acoustic Asylum podcast…

…And I’ve also decided to write a new book on learning the fretboard.

The book will be structured and organised using my method that I like to teach students, but I’d like to make sure all your questions are answered.

If you have any questions at all about learning the fretboard, leave a comment and let me know.

As for the new podcast episode, it’s a fun one…

Inside, I talk about some fretboard mistakes, the massive benefits of learning this skill, and a hidden reason why getting good at this can help you play everything with more confidence.

At the end, there is a little fretboard challenge for you too. (I use a super simple blues lick, but you can use anything you like for this – definitely give that a go).

Learning the fretboard will help “connect the dots” in your playing.

It will bring your theory to life.

And it will make playing the guitar more fun.

That, of course, is a great thing.

You can check out the new podcast episode below if you have an Apple device or iPhone.

Enjoy…

P.S. Remember to leave a comment with any questions you have on learning the fretboard and I’ll be sure to answer them in the book and bonuses that will come with it. Thanks
