Why Fingerstyle 101 Costs Less Than a Pack of Good Strings (And Why I’ll Probably Never Sell Anything This Low Ever Again)

A fair few of you have asked about why my Fingerstyle 101 book is so inexpensive but why my membership programme is pricier in comparison.

Good question.

The answer is simply because the membership is for the people who are dedicated, passionate, want more direct support, enjoy quizzes/challenges, and…

Want to improve faster than they would otherwise. (The membership is actually pretty reasonable in price and much cheaper than lessons).

In terms of the book, though, why is it so inexpensive?

Simply because I want this book in as many hands as possible.

If I can get this book in the hands of 100,000 guitarists over the next few years…
…I believe it will make a massive difference to the world of guitar playing (I hope that doesn’t sound arrogant).

The idea is to simply help as many people out with the book as possible. Then, if you love the book, you might want to join the membership.

One of the main reasons I want to help as many of you as possible is because, and I hate to say it, a lot of guitar advice is poor.

I read Facebook groups and hear stories from students about what their guitar teacher, friend, or others have told them about learning guitar, and it makes me mad.

Most people give out generic useless (and often harmful) advice like:

“Yeah, your fingers should be sore when you play, it gets easier”.

Or…

Q – “Should I have calluses on my fingers when playing?

A – “Yeah, of course, they’ll harden up”.

Both wrong and I could go on.

Most people are trying to be helpful but don’t realise, just because they struggled and learnt in a certain way, others don’t have to as well.

In terms of the book, it is NOT an advanced book, but it will help to solve many issues that plague a beginner fingerpicker’s guitar playing.

Helping to fix your sore fingers is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you want to fix your technique and have more fun fingerpicking in a proper, systematic way, then get the book today…

Because for those of you who get it today, there will be two very cool bonuses.
