Today we have a fun and exciting riff which is the James Bond theme. Last week I told you I have decided to update the top 50 riffs of all time and this one is definitely going in.
It now goes into the list at number 9 replacing Marilyn Manson’s cover of Sweet Dreams which is a good riff, but not really suitable for you all who make up my audience and to be honest is nowhere near as great a riff as the Bond one!

As discussed in this post, later on this year the top 50 riffs page will be totally revamped with riffs that are more suitable to my readers, riffs that get progressively harder without any jumps and riffs which are just way more exciting.
It’s a great piece that was written by Monty Norman and arranged by John Barry for the very first Bond film, and one of the best, ‘Dr No’.
Learn it and you will learn arguably one of the most recognisable riffs of all time and one that is a lot of fun to play!
