I’m a big fan of teaching my beginner students to embrace variety.
Most new students come to me with an open mind in terms of what they want to learn on guitar.
I thought I’d share this email from Bruce, as I found it very inspiring.
There are a lot of people out there (of any age) who feel like they’re “too old”…
I own dozens and dozens of guitar books.
At one stage, years ago, I’d be buying at least one book a week, probably for a year or so.
Someone left this rather shocking comment on one of my Facebook posts a short while back.
Here is what the fella said…
Whenever someone tells me they’ve been struggling for decades to play any sort of song, my heart sinks a little for them.
And sadly, this situation is not that uncommon.
A little while ago I asked this question on my Facebook page:

When I was 19, I went on one amazing adventure.
